I first knew about Brenda Jackson after I'd finish reading her book Surrender, it has 283 pages however I digested the whole book in 2 days. Each page gives you just enough that you craved more. I could'nt put the book down for I wanted, I needed to know what was going to happen next. When a writer's words can take hold of you and pull you into the story line and a very good author to follow.
